Tatiana Faia (Portugal)

Tatiana Faia Tatiana Faia

Tatiana Faia was born in 1986 in Lisbon. Now she lives and works in Oxford. She holds a PhD in Ancient Greek Literature and has translated Homer and Anne Carson into Portuguese. Tatiana is the author of one book of short stories and four books of poems, most recently Leopardo e Abstracção (Leopard and Abstraction, 2019). In 2019 her book Um quarto em Atenas (A Room in Athens, 2018) won the Portuguese Pen Award for poetry. She also shares editorial responsibilities in the publishing project Enfermaria 6 (Ward 6), which exists both as an online magazine and an independent imprint, with a focus on Portuguese and Brazilian poetry.
