He graduated from Vilnius University with a degree in Lithuanian studies and later a master\u2019s degree in the same field. He is a member of the Lithuanian Writers\u2019 Union and the Lithuanian Journalists\u2019 Union. Since 1988, he has been working for the magazine <em>M\u016bs\u0173 \u017e<\/em><em>odis<\/em> (Our Word). He collaborates with the publishing house <em>Brailio <\/em><em>s<\/em><em>pauda<\/em> (Braille Press) as a proofreader of braille publications. He has published eight books of poetry. The collection <em>Priera<\/em><em>\u0161ai neegzistuojan\u010d<\/em><em>ioms <\/em><em>\u201e<\/em><em>Iliados<\/em><em>\u201c ir \u201eOdis\u0117<\/em><em>jos<\/em><em>\u201c iliustracijoms<\/em> (Notes to the Non-existent Illustrations of the Iliad and Odyssey, 2020) was included in the Lithuanian Institute of Literature and Folklore\u2019s top twelve most creative books and a finalist for the Book of the Year; the collection <em>Amerikos atradimas, arba vaizduot\u0117s \u0161okis<\/em> (The Discovery of America, or the Dance of Imagination, 2023) won the Vilnius City Mayor\u2019s Prize. He has also written a non-fiction book about the integration of people with disabilities, <em>Noriu b\u016bti gyven<\/em><em>imo<\/em><em> dalininkas<\/em> (I Want to Be a Part of Life, 2003), the novel <em>Prad\u017e<\/em><em>ios u<\/em><em>\u017ekalb\u0117jimai<\/em> (The Incantations of the Beginning, 2010), and together with H.
