He graduated from Vilnius University with a bachelor\u2019s degree in Lithuanian philology, a master\u2019s degree in literary theory, and later, a master\u2019s degree in business management. Bleizgys is the author of ten poetry books and four prose books, and is a recipient of multiple literary awards. Bleizgys won the Yotvingian Prize in 2014.
