She received a bachelor\u2019s degree in Lithuanian philology from the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences, and a master\u2019s degree in literary anthropology and culture from Vilnius University. Her debut poetry book <em>Sumok\u0117jau alyvmed\u017eio lapais<\/em> (I Paid with Lilac Leaves, 2022) won the Lithuanian Writers\u2019 Union\u2019s first book competition and earned her the Zigmas G\u0117l\u0117 and Young Yotvingian prizes.<\/p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Birut\u0117 Gra\u0161yt\u0117-Black gim\u0117 1992\u00a0m.
