He graduated from Vilnius University with a master\u2019s degree in Lithuanian literature. Stankevi\u010dius has worked as a journalist in the daily Respublika and hosted a TV show titled Kult\u016bros sp\u0105stai (The Snares of Culture). He is the author of eleven poetry books, two books of essays, as well as librettos and song lyrics. Stankevi\u010dius is the recipient of multiple Lithuanian literary prizes, including the Poetry Spring Prize (2009), the Yotvingian Prize (2012), and the Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Arts (2022).
