He studied German literature and philosophy at the University of Fribourg. Urweider is the author of three poetry collections: <em>Lichter in Menlo Park<\/em> (Lights in Menlo Park, 2000), <em>Gegenteil von Fleisch<\/em> (The Opposite of Flesh, 2003), and <em>Alle Deine Namen<\/em> (All of Your Names, 2008). Urweider is a recipient of the Darmstadt and Bremen city literary prizes, the Ingeborg Bachmann Contest Prize (issued by the TV cultural channel 3sat), and the Clemens Brentano Prize. Urweider has worked as the artistic director of the Schlachthaus Theater in Bern, and has also translated plays, written music for theater productions, and performed as part of the Bern hip-hop group LdeeP.<\/p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rafaelis Urvaideris gim\u0117 1974\u00a0m.
