He studied Lithuanian philology and semiotics at Vilnius University. Liutkevi\u010dius\u2019s debut book <em>\u0160okis \u012fsuka \u0161vies\u0105<\/em> (The Dance Turns In the Light) earned him the Young Yotvingian Prize and was listed by The Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore among the Top 12 Most Creative Books of the Year.
