His first fulllength collection, <em>Kumukanda<\/em> (Chatto &amp; Windus, 2017) was a <em>Guardian<\/em> and <em>Telegraph<\/em> book of the year and won the Swansea University International Dylan Thomas Prize. Kayo was an Anthony Burgess Fellow at the Centre for New Writing, University of Manchester, and an Associate Poet at The Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. He is Poetry Editor for <em>The White Review<\/em> and an Assitant Professor of Creative Writing at Durham University.
