Maria Sevilla Paris (Catalonia)

Maria Sevilla Paris was born in 1990. She graduated with a degree in Catalonian philology from the University of Barcelona, where she currently teaches. Sevilla Paris is the author of five poetry collections: Dents de polpa (Pulp Teeth, 2015), Kalaixnikov (Kalashnikov, 2017), if true: false, else: true (2020), Plastilina (Plasticine, 2021), La nit ovípara (The Oviparous Night, 2024). She is a winner of the Bernat Vidal i Tomàs Prize (2015) and the Miquel Àngel Riera de Manacor Prize (2017). She is one of the leaders of the poetic performance theater, l’Horiginal.
