Rimvydas Stankevičius (Lithuania)

Rimvydas Stankevičius was born in 1973 in Elektrėnai. He graduated from Vilnius University with a master’s degree in Lithuanian literature. Stankevičius has worked as a journalist in the daily Respublika and hosted a TV show titled Kultūros spąstai (The Snares of Culture). He is the author of eleven poetry books, two books of essays, as well as librettos and song lyrics. Stankevičius is the recipient of multiple Lithuanian literary prizes, including the Poetry Spring Prize (2009), the Yotvingian Prize (2012), and the Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Arts (2022). He lives and works in Vilnius.
