Ariane Von Graffenried (Switzerland)

Ariane von Graffenried was born in Bern in 1978. She studied theatre, English literature and media at the University of Bern, defending her doctoral thesis on the adaptation of documentary film to theater. She is a member of the award-winning writers’ group “Bern ist überall” and is a curator of the Basel International Poetry Festival. She forms the spoken word duo, Fitzgerald & Rimini, with multi-instrumentalist and composer Robert Aeberhard. In 2017, her poetry collection "Babylon Park" was published, and "50 Hertz", a CD with poems, was released in 2019. She is also a playwright.
