Kateryna Mikhalitsyna (Ukraine)
Kateryna Mikhalitsyna (Катерина Міхаліцина) was born in 1982 in Mlyniv, Rivne Region. She studied biology at Rivne State University for the Humanities and completed part-time studies in English at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. She worked as an editor at the publishing houses Astroliabia and Vydavnytstvo Staroho Leva. She is the author of more than twenty children’s books and translates from English, Polish, and Lithuanian. Her major poetry collections include Повень (The Flood 2000), Тінь у дзеркалі (Shadow in the Mirror, 2014), and Розламані люди (Broken People, 2023). Her children’s book Kas auga sode (Who Grows in the Garden) was published in Lithuanian in 2023. Повень (Potvynis, 2000), Тінь у дзеркалі (Šešėlis veidrodyje, 2014), Розламані люди (Sulaužyti žmonės, 2023). Lietuvių kalba išleista jos knyga vaikams Kas auga sode (2023).
