Dovydas Grajauskas (Lithuania)
Dovydas Grajauskas (b. 1996, Klaipėda) is a Lithuanian poet, translator and percussionist. He studied Scandinavian Studies at Vilnius University. His original poems and translations from Danish and English have been published in literary journals and anthologies. His debut poetry collection, Apie reiškinius (2017), received the Zigmas Gėlė-Gaidamavičius Prize for the year’s best poetry debut. His second collection, Debreceno gatvės bliuzas (Debrecen Street Blues, 2025), was awarded the Young Yotvingian Prize for its fresh poetic resonances, playful deconstruction of language and unconventional syntax, as well as for its vivid social pulse, exploration of memory and longing for meaning. Grajauskas is an active participant in literary events and often performs his poetry accompanied by music. His poems have been translated into German, Polish, English and Estonian. He has lived in Vilnius since 2014.
